Our lead coach, Ben Sainsbury, brings 15 years of coaching experience across grassroots, JPL, and the professional academy system. Ben is passionate about player development and it is his aim to provide bespoke training plans for footballers, based on individual needs.

We provide an in-depth 1:1 assessment of your current skill set, based on the Four Corner Model of footballing assessment, which consists of the following areas:
01. Technical and Tactical
In football, technical refers to the execution of skills such as passing, dribbling, shooting, control, and tackling. Tactical relates to decision-making and game awareness — knowing where to be, what to do, and when to do it to help your team. Together, these elements shape both a player’s ability on the ball and their impact on the overall game.
02. Physical
In football, physical refers to the athletic qualities that support performance, such as speed, strength, agility, endurance, and balance. These attributes enable players to compete effectively, maintain intensity, and recover quickly during matches. A strong physical foundation enhances both technical execution and tactical decision-making.
03. Psychological
In football, psychological refers to the mental and emotional aspects of performance, such as confidence, focus, resilience, and composure under pressure. These qualities help players manage challenges, make better decisions, and maintain consistency throughout a match. A strong psychological mindset supports growth and success both on and off the pitch.
04. Social
In football, social refers to a player’s ability to communicate, cooperate, and build positive relationships with teammates, coaches, and others in the game. Strong social skills foster teamwork, trust, and a positive environment on and off the pitch. These connections can enhance performance, enjoyment, and long-term development.

General
Analyse My Game is a professional video analysis service for young footballers. We review your child’s match or training footage and provide personalised feedback to help them improve their technical and tactical development.
You upload your footage (from Veo, a mobile phone, or another camera). Our coaches analyse the clips and highlight key strengths and areas for improvement. We then provide a detailed written report, supported with video examples.
We work with players of all ages, including adults, from grassroots through to academy level. The feedback is tailored to the player’s stage of development.
You’ll get:
• A clear player development report
• Highlight clips showing specific areas of performance
• Practical tips and exercises to improve
Once we receive your footage, reports are usually delivered within 5–7 days.
We accept Veo recordings, smartphone recordings, or other camera footage. Ideally, the footage should capture the full game or training session so we can see the player in different situations.
No, you can simply film on your phone if you don’t have access to Veo or similar equipment.
We offer packages depending on the level of analysis required. Please see the ‘Packages’ tab on our homepage menu.
All analysis is completed by experienced academy-level coaches with a background in player development.
We send your report and video clips digitally via a secure link, so you can access them anytime.
Yes, we can provide specific analysis for goalkeepers as well as outfield players.
No, Analyse My Game is an independent service. We provide additional support outside of your club environment.
Parent Concerns
Yes. All footage and reports are stored securely and only shared with you. We never post or share your child’s clips publicly without written permission.
Only our trusted Analyse My Game coaching staff. All coaches have experience working in academy environments and follow strict safeguarding standards.
We do not use surnames or identifying information on reports or FIFA-style cards unless you request it.
Reports are sent to parents/guardians first. You can then choose how and when to share them with your child.
Not unless you request it. Analyse My Game is designed as additional support. You can choose to share the report with your child’s coach if you feel it would be helpful.
Our coaches tailor all feedback to the player’s age and development stage. Younger players receive simple, encouraging points with easy exercises, while older players receive more detailed technical and tactical feedback.
Yes, we keep reports so that progress can be tracked over time. You can request for reports and data to be removed at any time.

Having worked in the Academy environment for over 15 years, in a coaching and scouting position, I have often seen the opportunities that the players get as top-class academies. They get regular reviews, they get analysis of their footage, they get one-to-one and small group work based around what they need to develop.
So, I think for me, having run my own club for a long time, BRS, I now want to help not only our players, but other grassroots players. I don't think you can replicate the Academy experience, but I wanted to bring as much of that as we can to grassroots football, hence starting Analyse My Game.
Analysing a game is the best place to review footage because a game tells a true story. So if a player cannot receive the ball, or they cannot control the ball in the air, or they cannot control the ball with different parts of their body, if they cannot pass a ball, if they cannot shoot with the right technique or make the right movements, the game will tell me exactly where they need to improve their performance.
Therefore, bringing that experience from inside an academy to grassroots level will allow players to succeed. Why shouldn't grassroots players have that opportunity to grow and to improve as much as academy players? Analyse My Game is for everyone who wants to better themselves as a footballer and who doesn't want to do that?
